Sport and Physical Activity Directory
We produce a sport and physical activity directory which undergoes a 'health check' once a year to ensure it is providing the most up to date information as possible. The directory can be accessed on line where you can interactively search clubs or download your own copy of the directory here.
The directory is available for the whole of North Lincolnshire or just for the neighbourhood you live in. It lists sports clubs and physical activity opportunities in the area for both adults and young people.
Volunteers who have responded to a local need or interest run these clubs or sessions and we should applaud their efforts in giving up their free time to organise training, workshops and events for those wishing to take part.
The actual volume of clubs in this directory shows the vibrancy of North Lincolnshire and we hope you will find it useful to find out what is going on in your area. We know this directory does not include every activity in North Lincolnshire, so if you organise a sports club or session please click here to enter your details here.

Clubs and organisations
North Lincolnshire Council works in close partnership with Services2Sport (S2S) who can offer a number of benefits to each club, these can be seen below
- Identify when a coach’s minimum operating standards qualifications expire, and identify when courses are available.
- Coach development bursaries,
- Increased participation (we can offer your coaches opportunities for work, where they can promote your club),
- Can organise training courses at club venues (if your club cannot fill the course, then S2S will look outside to fill it),
- Capacity building – S2S have a working relationship with North Lindsey College and John Leggott College,
- Portable CRBs (10% discount for those who are wanting work – paid or voluntary),
- Provide insurance if deployed through S2S,
- Calculation of Tax and National Insurance when coaches are being paid for delivery.
