The North Lincolnshire Leisure and Culture Awards take place every year to recognise and reward the outstanding achievements that volunteers have made.
The awards are grouped into categories that you the people of North Lincolnshire can vote for. You can vote for the person or group you think should be nominated from leisure, arts, heritage or community settings in North Lincolnshire. New for this year are three award categories for 16 - 25 year olds, these are part of Voluntary Action North Lincolnshires V Project. The full list of Awards are given below:

- Young Disabled Sports Achiever of the Year
- Male or Female Sports Achiever of the Year
- Disabled Sports Achiever of the Year
- Junior Team of the Year
- Senior Team of the Year
- Sports Club of the Year
- Coach of the Year
- Community Impact of the Year
- Community Organisation of the Year
- Community Building of the Year
- Volunteer of the Year
- Young Sports Volunteer of the Year
- Young Disabled Volunteer of the Year
- Lifetime Achievement Award
- Young Arts/Heritage Achiever of the Year
- Young Disabled Arts/Heritage Achiever of the Year
- Young Arts or Heritage Volunteer of the Year
- Art Workshop Leader of the Year
- V Award for Personal Development in Volunteering NEW!
- V Award for Professional Development in Volunteering NEW!
- V Award for Youth Led Volunteer Project of the Year NEW!

**Please note closing date for nominations is 5pm on Wednesday 10th February 2010.
** In addition to completing the nomination form on line, where possible please could you email a picture of the nominee in action to marie.bailey@northlincs.gov.uk This picture will be used in a slide show at the awards ceremony to demonstrate to the guests all the positive work happening in North Lincolnshire. Or even better than that, you could start volunteering to have the chance to be nominated for an award yourself.
